Arundel Cellars & Brewing Co. and Tamarack Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center are co-hosting “Raptors at Arundel,” a free family-friendly event on Saturday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 11727 E. Main Road (Rt. 20), in North East, PA.
Tamarack educators will be hand with their live ambassador birds of prey, including a selection of falcons, hawks and owls. During Raptors at Arundel, Arundel Cellars & Brewing Co. will be offering free samplings of their Falcon Red wine.
To show their gratitude and to assist in their unwavering efforts to bring many other creatures to good health, Arundel donates a portion of the proceeds from Falcon Red wine to Tamarack year round.
Falcon Red is a blend of locally grown grapes with a black pepper aroma and taste coupled with the flavor of dark cherry. This dry red wine is best paired with beef, pork and pasta with red sauce.
Pints of craft beer, glasses of premium wine, soft drinks, sandwiches, wraps and finger foods will be available for purchase at this child-friendly event.
Tamarack Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center is a non-profit organization serving northwest Pennsylvania, whose mission is to treat injured wildlife to enable their return to the wild, and to promote appreciation and understanding of wildlife through education.
