This festival is to inspire a community philosophy which promotes the value and nobility of all people and encourage dialogue across the lines of race, ethnicity, gender and class through public presentations of cultural arts, workshops and lectures.
Starting at 11:00am at Perry square. The UnoWE parade starts at 12noon at 4th and State proceeding to Perry Square. The parade will feature community created giant puppets and wearable arts pushed by the renowned BATALA NYC all-female Afro-Brazilian samba ensemble.
