September 24-26, 2021. From its modest beginnings in 1981 as a small street fair to the exciting regional event it is today, the Wine Country Harvest Festival – affectionately known as WineFest – has continued to improve with age, just like fine wine. WineFest will be hosted in Gibson Park, the original downtown festival venue. Attendees have the opportunity to sample 100 different wines, enjoy the sounds of dozens of entertainers, try their luck at grape stomping, and meander through hundreds of craft and exhibitor tents. Part street fair, part arts and crafts festival, part music festival, part harvest festival!
October 13-30, 2021. It's about to get spoooky at the Eerie Zoo! Put on your costume and get ready to experience the Zoo "Halloween style"! This year's ZooBOO will continue to be "scary, but not too scary" with lots of fun for the whole family. *New This Year* attendees of all ages may participate in the trick-or-treating fun! Make sure when purchasing tickets to select "treater" if you want to partake in the sweets or "non treater" if you're just along for the eerie experience! Regardless of your ticket type, all visitors will once again be able to participate in the Spooky Scavenger Hunt for extra family fun! The Eerie Zoo GrubsHub will also be back on the front lawn for all your creepy cravings and there will be lots of time to do the Monster Mash at DJ Bill Page's Spooky Jukebox! And don't forget say hello to the Talking Pumpkin, make a stop on the Troll Bridge, and hitch a ride on the Eerie Express train while you're here.
October 7,8,9 2021. Scary Creature Feature is a fall, family event complete with activities, storytelling, and a guided walk through the woods where guests encounter and learn about some not-so-scary, nocturnal creatures that live in the forest. It’s the perfect chance to explore the woods at night and enjoy the cool, crisp air of an autumn evening.
It's ALIVE!!! October 27-30, 2021 will mark the official return of the Eerie Horror Fest hosted in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania at the terrifyingly charming Erie Playhouse. The four-day film festival celebrates the horror genre of cinema, set to feature screenings of short and feature length films including celebrity guests participating in live Q&As, meet and greets, and photo ops.

October 8-9, 2021 from 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM both days. Come see hundreds of illuminated pumpkins along a one-mile walking trail at Waldameer Amusement Park. There will be youth activities and educational presentations. Event will be held rain or shine. Please, no pets except for service animals. No reservations are needed. Bring a flashlight and dress for a walk on paved and grassy handicapped-accessible trails. Enjoy educational exhibits for all ages. Well-lit parking lot with 1,200 spaces (including handicapped spots.) October 9-10, 16-17, 2021. Celebrate Fall at the 33rd Annual Fall Fest at Peek’n Peak Resort and experience two weekends full of fall fun in the foothills of Western New York. Brilliant foliage sets the scene for a juried craft show with more than 130 vendors and a farmers’ market! Vendors range from local painters and candle makers to professional photographers and local ironsmiths. There will also be classic Fall Fest favorites, like the pumpkin cannon and a massive Kids’ Zone, featuring horse-drawn carriage rides, free kids’ crafts, magic shows, wildlife shows, a rock wall, pony rides, and much more!
