About ASCEND Erie

ASCEND Erie opened in November 2023, bringing Erie its first indoor rock climbing facility. Also featuring a well-stocked fitness area, yoga studio, slacklining, youth programs and community events, this 25,000 square foot facility offers something for everyone regardless of experience level or age. Part of downtown Erie's revitalization, ASCEND Erie features 50’ lead climbing, top-roping, and auto-belay walls, ample bouldering terrain, climbing training tools, your favorite concessions, modern restrooms with showers, changing areas, and gender neutral options, comfortable lounge space to relax, work, and socialize, and of course, tons of glass - natural light!
