What to Do & Where to Stay
Erie Wine Country FAQs
When is the best time to visit Lake Erie Wine Country?
Lake Erie Wine Country is beautiful year-round, but many visitors choose to visit from late spring through fall when vineyards are lush and wineries offer outdoor seating, live music, and seasonal events. Autumn is especially popular thanks to colorful vineyard views and harvest season activities.
Can I visit multiple wineries in one day?

Do the wineries offer tours?
Many wineries offer guided tastings, vineyard tours, and behind-the-scenes experiences, though offerings vary by location and time of year. It's a good idea to check with individual wineries in advance to learn about available tours, tasting experiences, and reservation requirements.
Can large groups/bachelorettes go to the wineries?
For large groups, it's best to make a reservation at each winery, yes. Please call the wineries individually using the numbers listed below. You could also book a scheduled tour through Rupp Limousine.
