About Presque Isle Lighthouse

Presque Isle Lighthouse offers visitors a chance to step into Erie’s maritime past while enjoying one of the peninsula’s most scenic spots. Standing tall along the Lake Erie shoreline, this historic 1873 beacon invites guests to explore its charming keeper’s house, learn about its role in guiding sailors, and climb the tower for sweeping views of the beach and surrounding park. Whether visitors are history lovers, lighthouse enthusiasts, or simply enjoying a day at Presque Isle State Park, the lighthouse provides a memorable stop filled with beauty, heritage, and lakefront adventure.

New in 2026, Casey's Ice Cream Cart is teaming up with the Presque Isle Lighthouse and Opportunities Unlimited to launch Friends of Casey’s, an inclusive workforce development program for youth with disabilities. Casey’s Ice Cream Cart is a nostalgic ice cream caterer, serving sweetness across the Erie region. Visit the Friends of Casey’s cart at the Presque Isle Lighthouse every Thursday-Sunday from 10-5 p.m.
