Erie Wineries FAQ
My bachelorette party wants to do a wine tour. Do I need to make reservations?
Groups of 8 or more are required to make reservations, and it's recommended that you do so at least two days in advance. Tours can also be booked through Rupp Limousine.
Do wineries serve food?
It depends on the winery. Several of our partner wineries that serve food include Arundel Cellars & Brewing, 21 Brix, Five & 20 Spirits and Brewing, and Yori Cellars & Brewing. Please check out the individual winery websites to see menus.
How does a wine tasting work?
Each winery has its own method. In general, you pay for a sampling of a set number of wines, select which wines you want to taste, and an on-site expert provides you with a small sample while describing the wine's notes and flavors. Learn more about the Seven S's of Tasting here.
What is the best time to visit Lake Erie Wine Country?
The wineries in Lake Erie Wine Country are open year-round, but the most popular time to visit is during the fall harvest season, from mid-August through mid-November.
