Lake Erie Wine Country Wine & Cheese Weekend

Visit all the wineries for fabulous cheese-inspired food samples, each paired with a complimentary wine. Cheese provided by Yancey's Fancy. This year, Wine & Cheese Weekend has an "International Flair!"  www.lakeeriewinecountry.org

TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT WILL ONLY BE SOLD UNTIL NOON ON TUESDAY, APRIL 17.

WHAT ARE THE EVENT HOURS?

Friday: 12 - 5 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

WHAT DO I GET WITH A TICKET?

  • A food & wine sample pairing at each winery (Sorry, but wineries cannot accommodate every special diet.)
  • Wine tasting
  • A great gift!
  • A booklet containing all of the recipes of the foods you'll be tasting
  • A Lake Erie Wine Country wine glass
  • A $5 voucher to use at any winery or at certain restaurants designated on the back of the voucher

WHAT TICKET TYPES ARE AVAILABLE?

  1. REGULAR TICKET ($38+) - Good for all three days. If you want to come on Saturday, you must purchase this ticket.
  2. DESIGNATED DRIVER TICKET ($20+) - This is for people who want to enjoy the event but do not wish to taste wine. It includes everything except the wine tastings. A non-alcoholic beverage will be provided for your driver. The $5 voucher is added to the DD ticket at no extra charge! Friday and/or Sunday only DD tickets are the same price.
  3. FRIDAY AND/OR SUNDAY ONLY TICKETS ($28+) – Good for either Friday or Sunday, or both, but cannot be used on Saturday.

WHAT IS A HOST WINERY?

Also known as your “Ticket Pick-Up Winery,” this is the winery where you will pick up your ticket and your gift bag at any time during the event hours. When you make your online ticket purchase, you need to click the down arrow to see the options for your ticket with a pick up locations of one of 6 host wineries. Choose the winery at which you'd like to pick up your ticket and gift bag, then complete your transaction. If you are also purchasing a Designated Driver Ticket, make sure you choose that same winery when you get into the Designated Driver Ticket list in the PayPal drop-down menu.

When a host winery becomes "full," it will disappear from the drop-down menu and you will not be able to select it. Pick up wineries are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you get your tickets late, you will have to select one of the remaining wineries. These can't be changed after the fact, so please make sure you know where your friends are going to pick up their tickets BEFORE you order.

IF I ORDER TWO TICKET TYPES, WILL IT AUTOMATICALLY SELECT THE SAME HOST WINERY FOR ME?

No, it won’t. Please make sure you are selecting the same starting winery for each ticket type.

I DON'T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. CAN I STILL ORDER TICKETS?

Yes. The system is facilitated by PayPal, but you don't have to have a PayPal account. Simply choose "check out" instead of "Check out with PayPal."

WILL MY TICKET(S) BE MAILED TO ME?

No. You pick up tickets at your HOST WINERY at any time during the event.

ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?

SORRY, NO REFUNDS; but tickets are transferable to other people for the same event.

WHAT IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED?

We never cancel our events for any reason, even cold or snow.

WHICH WINERIES ARE PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT?

22 LEWC wineries are participating in this event.
NOTE: Be sure to visit our newest winery, Yori Wine Cellars, in downtown North East, PA. Also, Woodbury Vineyards in Fredonia, NY is now BACK on the wine trail and they are participating in this event!
