This is Where History Inspires
Visit us and you’ll find something for everyone with more than 20 exhibits in four buildings.
We recently opened Frank Lloyd Wright’s original San Francisco office that includes his favorite vehicles – a 1930 L-29 Cabriolet on loan from Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, and a Crosley Hot Shot. We also have his Butterfly Bridge model on display.
Enjoy the architecture of the Watson-Curtze Mansion, built in 1891, and explore the Griswold cast iron display in the kitchen. On the second floor, peek inside Winfred Watson’s childhood bedroom, a Victorian dress display, Civil War gallery and the newly opened Servants Quarters. On the third floor, you’ll find the ballroom, Eugene Iverd exhibit and Waldameer memorabilia room.
In the Wood-Morrison House, be prepared for emotional stories of Erie County men and women who fought for our country. You’ll also see the pot used to boil Mad Anthony Wayne’s bones … and much more.
Museum Hours - Tuesday – Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours on Fridays until 8 p.m.
